I have enjoyed reading your post and I don't think I would have enjoyed that if you weren't skilled enough as a writer. Being skilled in my opinion is not all about punctuations or other things that others make a big deal of. For me its simply something that would make me want to keep reading and reading til I reach the end. Sometimes its pointless no matter how perfect the grammar is on your post or how correct all the punctuations are that you have typed, if nobody even wants to finish reading it, right? So you are actually right about how you think Manvela feels about her writing, and why we like it, I'm sorry, love it, though the topics are so very simple and routine! Most of the times, we write for for others, we start thinking how others will judge it, but ofcourse we want to be in other's good books, that's human tendency. But why be normal, become abnormal... start writing for yourself!!! In Biology, we have always been taught to consider abnormal in a bad perspective... Why??? I say that if You are not normal, it means you are not ordinary, that means you are extra-ordinary, and that means you are abnormal! Right? Yes Drags, You and I cant expect our writing to be 1st class from the biggening, as Manvela said. We have to wait, ruminate all our deepest thoughts that we never even were aware existed and then see what magic it spells!!! Stick to your opinions and write fearlessly what you want to say, and yes, without any prejudice whatsoever... When i say stick to your opinions i don't mean that you must be adamant even when the other person has politely argued and logically justified his point as right…. Be slow to form your convictions but once formed they must be guarded against all odds. This will show tremendous confidence in your writing. Finally, write what you believe in, not what is fake … ok a couple of hyperboles here and there to add that spice is just great, but fake, if u do that your conscience will eat you away to gory… that is if you are an honest writer, and rest depends on your imagination, similes, metaphors, and so on… here ends the start!!! Then it doesn't really matter if it's a great topic or not,'cause once you write on it,it sure does look cool enough! This post is another one of my fave's,i mean,writing is defined in looooong never-ending sentences in dictionaries and encyclopedias(phew!),while you give it a fresh new look,a new definition which stays fixed in the mind! Also,it's so right,you have to try it out!! About your writing skills,well,i'll say you have oodles of it(DUH!)it's just that you bring them out without realizing it,and others either know about them,but don't get them out,or know about them,and boast away to glory,so no-one's really interested in seeing them.
